Mine on Monday

My first "Mine on Monday" post! Just a few pictures of Tyson during bathtime last night. One of Tyson's latest tricks is whistling. A few weeks ago while I was getting ready for work in the morning I heard someone whistling and never once thought it could be Tyson until he walked into the bathroom and I saw my 2 year old whistling better than most adults! I was shocked! I can't even whistle myself and my 2 year old can! I am so proud of his many talents!! :) I have been wanting to catch him whistling on video camera but of course whenever you ask him to do it he doesn't. While Tyson was playing in the tub I caught him whistling and with a little encouragement I was able to catch it on camera! He is so much fun!





I realize this picture of the two of us is NOT the best of me but I don't care! It is one of the VERY FEW pictures of us together so it will be one I will treasure. LOVE YOU TYSON!

Mother Daughter Session

After months of rescheduling I was finally able to photograph this fun and beautiful mom/daughter team! We had a lot of fun capturing some photos at the beach over Thanksgiving weekend. These two recently moved to AZ so it was great to see them again! Thanks for being so patient with me Lisa and Lauren in getting your photos back to you. Hope you like them!

*On a side note, starting tomorrow I will be posting what I call "Mine on Monday". I was inspired by a photographer who decided to make one of her New Years resolutions be to take more time to capture pictures of her own kids! I want to do the same! I have been so busy taking pictures and editing pictures for other people's kids and haven't taken any time to take pictures or blog pictures of my own son! Makes me sad:( Especially since I think he is one of the cutest kids EVER and totally blog worthy but of course I feel that way...I am his mama!! So stay tuned tomorrow for my first "Mine on Monday" post of my adorable little kiddo. Not all the pictures will be edited or frame worthy but I have promised myself that I won't let that stop me from posting!

Be My Valentine

Here are a few Valentine cards I came up with today. I am thinking about doing a Valentine Mini Shoot just like my Halloween Mini Shoot. If I can get 10 interested people then I will do it. The date will be January 23, 2010. Once I know if there are enough interested people then I will confirm a location and time. There will be fewer props than the Halloween shoot. Included will be a 15 minute shoot and 5-7 images on CD plus your choice of one of my 5x7 Valentine cards that can be printed anywhere. Colors and wording can be customized to your liking but the layout of the cards will stay the same. Price will be $30. If interested send me an email. Thanks!

This is one of the most smiley 6 month olds ever! He is so fun to shoot! I met him for the first time at my Halloween Mini Photoshoots and then had the pleasure of shooting his beautiful family a few weeks later! Love this little man!

The Alvarez Brothers

These handsome young men belong to my cousin. Aren't they the cutest in those outfits!! We had so much fun on this session. At least I did! It was hard to get them to sit still and look at the camera at the same time but we manage to pull it off. Here are a few from the session...
